2. Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics or statistics services, no advertising networks, no social media plugins and no techniques for recognising visitors. That is also why no cookie banner appears on this website.

There is one single exception, and it concerns the map on the contact page. If you load the map and leave the option "Remember my choice in this browser" switched on, we store your decision as a single entry in your browser's local storage (Local Storage, key dpb-embed-consent). Only the consent itself is stored, no personal data and no identifier that could be used to recognise you. The entry does not leave your device.

You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. You can do so via the "Withdraw consent" link in the footer of this website, or by deleting the website data in your browser. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.

3. Hosting and delivery of the website

This website is hosted with Cloudflare. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. In Germany, Cloudflare can be reached at Rosenheimer Straße 143C, 81671 Munich. You can contact the provider's data protection officer at dpo@cloudflare.com.

Cloudflare delivers this website through a worldwide network of servers. When you visit the site, technically necessary access data is processed, including your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred and details of your browser and operating system. This data serves to deliver the pages and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the EU General Data Protection Regulation); our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 DSGVO is in place with Cloudflare.

As Cloudflare is based in the United States, your data may be processed outside the European Union. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission established an adequate level of data protection by implementing decision of 10 July 2023. In addition, Cloudflare has agreed to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 Abs. 2 lit. c DSGVO (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR). You may request a copy of these safeguards from us.

4. Server log files

Technically necessary access data is recorded in server log files. This data is not merged with other data sources. It serves solely to ensure that the site runs properly and is deleted after a short period.

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Playfair Display, Lato, Karla) are served from our own server. No connection is made to servers operated by Google or other third parties, and no data is transferred to third parties.

6. Maps (Google Maps)

To help you find us, you can load a map from the Google Maps service on the contact page (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is not loaded automatically. A connection to Google is only established once you actively click the "Load map" button. Your IP address and further technical data are then transferred to Google, cookies may be set by Google, and a transfer to the USA is possible.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO in conjunction with § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). As long as you do not load the map, no data whatsoever is transferred to Google. As a data-saving alternative, we offer a simple route planning link on the same page, which only takes you to Google after you click it.

7. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the details you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b and lit. f DSGVO. We do not offer a contact form on this website.

8. Online appointment booking (Doctolib)

For online appointment booking, we link to the Doctolib service. This is a simple link, not an embedded element. Data is only transferred once you actively use the link. The privacy notices of Doctolib then apply.

9. Social media

We link to our profile on Instagram. This is a simple link, with no embedded plugins or tracking pixels. You are only forwarded to the provider once you click, and its privacy terms then apply.

10. Downloads

On the downloads page we provide forms as PDF files. The files are held on our own server. No additional personal data is collected when you download them.

11. Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin).
